Privacy policy
Kvito (CVR 44353687) helps you store, import and understand receipts, and track price match and complaint deadlines. Contact: kontakt@kvito.dk.
Data we may process
- Account and profile (email, name, settings, notification level).
- Receipts, PDFs, notes and related metadata.
- Optional Gmail connection and mail import history.
- Price match, store policies, product warranty and market scan results.
- Receipt sharing and invitation program.
- Amanda conversations (up to 30 days unless you clear them).
- Push device tokens on mobile when you grant permission.
- Subscription status via the App Store or Google Play.
- Optional crash reports and feedback.
Purpose
We use data to deliver app features, send relevant notifications, manage subscriptions and the invitation program, improve stability and answer your requests. AI is used for extraction and assistance, not as legal advice.
Google and Gmail
If you connect Gmail, Kvito asks for permission to read relevant emails and attachments to find receipts, and when you use related features, create drafts or send emails on your behalf. We do not store your full mailbox. You can disconnect Gmail in the app or at Google.
Google user data and Limited Use
Kvito's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to theGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- We use Gmail data only for user facing features in the app: receipt import, autoscan (Premium), drafts and sending when you ask for it.
- We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising, retargeting or data brokerage.
- We do not allow human access to your mailbox unless you request support and consent, it is required for security, or the law requires it.
Legal basis
We process personal data when it is necessary to perform our agreement with you (the app and subscription), when we have a legitimate interest in improving security and the product, or when you have given consent (for example push or an optional Gmail connection). Where required, we also process data to meet legal obligations.
Retention
Account and receipt data are kept while your account is active. Amanda conversations are typically deleted after up to 30 days unless you clear them earlier. After profile deletion we remove your data within a reasonable period, unless we are required to keep them longer.
Transfers
Some processors may handle data outside the EEA. When they do, we use appropriate safeguards such as EU standard contractual clauses where relevant.
Third parties
Data is processed via providers such as Supabase, OpenAI, Google (login, Gmail, Firebase push), Apple/Google app stores, Sentry and Resend. We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and, in some cases, objection. You can request a PDF data export, clear Amanda and mail history, and delete your profile in the app under Account, or write to kontakt@kvito.dk. You can also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk).
